Kensington College of Business

University Address: West End

Kensington College of Business

KCB is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1982, making it one of the oldest independent Degree / HE

course providers in the UK.

KCB has the distinction of being

one of the earliest independent sector Colleges to be recognised by the UK Government as a degree teaching institution. Today KCB students are able to obtain funding for their courses from the Government for their degree and HNC/HND courses if they fulfil the qualifying criteria.

Listed Bodies Act by Act of Parliament in 1998 by what was then called the Department for Education & Science with approval continuing for over 14 years shown by the current listing on the DBIS website.

The College has been approved with the highest ranking possible by the UK Government’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. The QAA review system focuses on the student experience, which obviously includes the quality of teaching. The College is fortunate to have highly qualified teaching staff, most of whom have also had significant experience as professional practitioners. This is a key strength highlighted by the approval process of our university partners. Several of the staff are also, or have been, examiners at other universities.

Location

KCB’s Campus in the UK is located in Oxford Circus, which is in the heart of London’s famous shopping and entertainment district (the West End), and in close proximity to the financial district of the City of London. KCB is within a short distance of key legal institutions, notably the Royal Courts of Justice, the Supreme Court, Inns of Court, leading law firms and barrister chambers.

Due to the central location of KCB’s campus, it is possible for our students to travel from all parts of London and its suburbs. This is a very important advantage for our students, giving the possible requirement of finding suitable accommodation in a particular area of London or one of its suburbs due to personal issues such as work, living with relatives and/ or friends, etc.

The transport network in London is good and affordable
