If you intend to work and study while pursuing higher education in the UK, the government supports this.

1. UK employers are also open to hiring foreign students for part-time jobs as well as course-related jobs.
2. Only students enrolled in full-time degree courses are eligible for employment.
3. International students above the age of 16 may work up to 20 hours a week.
4. Students are allowed to work longer hours during vacation.
5. Students employed in 18 NHS Trust positions may work over 20 hours a week until Sept. 30, 2021, depending on the demands of the job.
6. UK Tier 4 visa does not allow self-employment.
7. International students are also prohibited to work in professional sports (such as a coach or professional athlete) or as a private entertainer.
