Mr Rahman, a shining careerist in Education consultancy and an education migration entrepreneur who began advising the international students as a free-lancer mentor for the University of Surrey student union during 2009 to 2010. Soon he qualified with a world class degree from Surrey University; he has had a brief internship as a Marketing and Business Development officer under Mr Graham Price (Psychologist and HR Specialist) with the Abicord Limited from 2011 to 2012. Having sufficient impetus from past involvement as paid-student mentor and subsequent experience as business developer, he joined Diversity Global as an Education Entrepreneur and continued to work there throughout from late 2012 to until early 2014. Soon after, he started his own consultancy firm- GEC Consultants from 2014. Till now, he is running his firm successfully as a Managing Director. He also took part number of trainings and received professional accreditations from British Council, ICEF, UCAS and UK Universities. As a Managing Director, he focuses on various sectors of GECC, which are divided in as follows:
1. Generating business include Business Development, working partner and client's retention, Research & Training.
2. Office Operation include Legal and Compliance, Management & Administration, Financing.
3. HR management –Arrange and lead the necessary training for the member of staff working globally.
As a part of these above mention broader area, he does manage and communicate the international partnerships. Presenting and leading the GECC to the variety of educational and governmental institutes as well as other relevant stakeholders.
As a part of education venture, Mr. Rahman also launched Training Centre, namely-Britskills & Training in mid of 2019 with two other prominent Entrepreneurs and community activities in British Bangladeshi Community. As a Director, he is working for business developing and monitoring the whole operation of Britskills and Training.
Considering his Entrepreneurial mindset, he can generate varieties of creative idea to boost the financial and organizational growth. He also worked as a volunteer in many sectors. Through his volunteering, he has successfully completed 6 days residential professional leadership course from "The Change Leadership Foundation". It is hands-on 6 days residential programme that uses experiential learning to develop practical skills and insight into Transformational Leadership. The programme is delivered through a mixture of facilitated sessions, practical team tasks and small group reviews, with lots of time for reflection and ‘off-duty’ conversation.
